The one thing most buyers get wrong
These aren’t defects. They’re the fingerprint of a handloom.
A powerloom repeats itself perfectly, forever. A handloom can’t — every thread is set by a human hand. The tiny irregularities are how you know a real person wove it.

Powerloom
Flawless. Identical. Lifeless.
Machine-set uniform tension, perfect repeats — and no two-shuttle korvai, so the border is printed-on, not interlocked.

Advaya Handloom
Living texture. Hand-set. Yours alone.
Korvai woven — body and border interlocked by hand. The fabric tears before the border ever detaches. Subtle variation is proof of the weaver.
“Pure zari is never flashy. It’s subtle — and it only grows more beautiful with age.”

Good to Know
Questions, Answered
Is every saree really one of a kind?
Yes. Each piece is a single handloom weave sourced directly from the weaving family — there is exactly one of every saree we list. When a piece sells, it is gone, which is why availability on each saree’s page is live and marked “Only One Piece”.
How do I check the price and availability of a saree I saw on Instagram?
Every saree’s price, photos and live availability are on its own page. If the reel or post shows a code (like KS335), type weavesbyadvaya.com/sarees/ followed by the code — or browse the full collection and search by code. If there’s no code, WhatsApp us a screenshot and we’ll identify it for you.
Are prices negotiable?
Our prices are fixed and fair. Each saree comes directly from the weaver, every piece is one of a kind, and the price on the website is the final price — that’s what lets us stay honest with both our customers and our weavers.
How do I order and pay?
Open the saree’s page, tap Add to Cart, and check out. Payment is through our secure checkout — UPI, cards and net banking are accepted — and you’ll receive an order confirmation immediately on WhatsApp and email.
How do I know a payment request is really from you?
We never ask for payment to a personal UPI ID or bank account in chat. The only way to pay us is the secure checkout on weavesbyadvaya.com. Some fake pages copy our photos — before paying anyone, make sure you are on our website or chatting with our official number.
Do you ship across India? How do I track my order?
Yes — shipping is free across India. You’ll receive tracking details on WhatsApp as soon as your saree is dispatched, and you can follow every step anytime at weavesbyadvaya.com/track.
How do I know the sarees are authentic handlooms?
Every saree is sourced directly from handloom weaving families, and each page states its weave and material. Eligible pure-silk pieces — Kanchipuram, Mysore Silk and Thirubhuvanam — carry the Silk Mark on their product page.
Can you help me choose?
Happily — that’s the part we love. Message us on WhatsApp for a personal consultation and we’ll shortlist pieces for your occasion, colours and budget, with photos and videos of the actual saree.

Born from a Love of
Living Craft
“Every time a handloom saree goes unworn, a weaver’s livelihood dims. We started Advaya to change that — one beautiful saree at a time.”
Dr. Barghavi R and Mrs. Meena R — a doctor and a retired teacher — founded Weaves by Advaya not as a business, but as a mission: to connect modern families with the master weavers who still practise centuries-old traditions.
